Best World Cup Songs in 2022

These tracks were created by FIFA for each of its soccer tournaments since 1990. The World Cup began with the inception of the operation in 1930, but an official anthem wasn't officially deemed until 1990.

These official anthems of the World Cup have taken up sponsors' careers and are likely to have their creators immortalized. Such is the case for the vocals of Ricky Martin, who in 1998 recorded the euphoric official song Cup of Life (La Copa de la Vida) for the French World Cup that was held that year.

La Copa de la Vida on Billboard Hot 100

Before the peak of the Latin wave, Puerto Rican star Martin crossed over to the English market Thanks to his success, he teamed up with Desmond Child and Draco Rosa to write and produce the song, which originally peaked at No. 60 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1998. The song returned into the main Billboard chart at No. 45 in August 1999.

FIFA Songs Has Been Developed

Shakira's joyful Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), featuring Afro-fusion band Freshlyground, became a notable song for the 2010 soccer event held in South Africa. The music reached No. 38 on the Hot 100 chart dated July 3, 2010.

For the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup, FIFA has released its official songs, set to be released on November 20 in Qatar. The first song released is Hayya Hayya (Better Together), a fusion of R&B and reggae. This is the first time the World Cup will feature a single-song collection. Even today, FIFA songs have been developed and released since the 1990s. The following songs, by year, are FIFA’s official official theme songs and anthems.

2022 FIFA Song Quata

FIFA premiered the official theme song for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, with its title being Hay Ha Hayya (Better Together). Composed by Trinidad Cardona, Davido and Aisha, the song fuses rock and reggae influences, with vocals provided by Trinidad Cardona. The soundtrack to the event will contain multiple FIFA-released official songs, including Ozuna's and Gims  Arhbo's Light the Sky, an all-female song.

The first official stadium anthem or song is one of the most important parts of any mega event. Hayya Hayya (Better Together) is the first single in the song World Cup Qatar 2022 Official Soundtrack, a successor to the songhooligans TEJ. It was released on April 1, 2022, and also became a hit on YouTube with more than 23 million views and more than 670,000 likes combined.

The official FIFA 2022 World Cup soundtrack is titled Light The Sky and features Nora Fatehi, Balqees, Rahma Riad, Manal, RedOne and choreographer Sadeck Waff. The soundtrack was released in September.
