Serial Killer with Glasses
Why Do Serial Killers Glasses All Look the Same?
Looking at the faces of these serial killers in glassses, do you feel extremely disgusted? With glasses, they seem to be one of the ordinary people, and look very ordinary and even friendly. They are like the next door neighbor, a colleague in the office, someone else's husband, and the usual old lady. You can see how powerful glasses are.
Are they nearsighted? Most of them are not. Some of them have great eyesight. So do they need glasses for? Do they have a special taste of eyewear? If you were a killer, what glasses would you choose? Would you choose sunglasses? This article is determined to find out what these serial killer glasses have in common. Let's begin with notorious serial killer- notorious Jeffrey Dahmer.
Jeffrey Dahmer's Glasses
Jeffrey Dahmer's notoriety is inseparable from his childhood eccentricities. He has had a strong interest in corpses since he was a child and is also a brutal boy killer. Why not a girl? You may have noticed that he is gay.
People feared him but were also fascinated by him and his items. One of them is his golden double-bridge glasses. People searched for ways to buy the same style on major social platforms and said they liked his glasses very much. There are even comments that Jeffrey Dahmer with glasses are cute.
A youtuber even posted multiple videos to show people the glasses Jeffrey Dahmer wore in the jail. I have to say, the youtuber looks good in the glasses. The aviator shape is suitable for almost all face shapes. A simple pair of glasses can make you "cute" in a minute.
This style of the double nose bridge is also very popular now, and major eyewear brands such as Ray-Ban have similar styles. It is said that he changed a total of 3 pairs in prison. In the end, Dahmer was murdered by a fellow inmate in a Wisconsin prison in 1994.
Zodiac Killer Wore Glasses Or Not?
The zodiac killer is probably the most famous unidentified serial killer to date. He committed a series of murders between 1968 and 1974. In letters to the media, he claimed that he had killed 37 people, but according to investigations, he only killed 7 people, of which 2 survived. The letter also contained four ciphers and encrypted content, claiming that he could be found by deciphering the cipher, but three remained unsolved.
The only code that was unlocked, it read: "I like killing people because it's so funny...I won't tell you my name because you'll stop me from collecting slaves after death..." Second, since the case It has been undecided. Are the police images accurate? Does zadiac really wear glasses? If you wear it, is it necessary for poor eyesight, or is it just worn once to the crime scene?
The portrait came from the following: On October 11, 1969 just before 10 PM in San Francisco, California at the intersection of Washington and Cherry. A cab driver Paul Stine was shot in the head by his passenger. A teenage girl from her home across the street heard the shot along with two other witnesses in her home and got a good look at the man as he wiped down the car and walked away. They called the police and described the man as a white male between 25 to 30 years old. Five foot eight to five foot nine tall, stocky, with a reddish-brown crew cut and heavy rimmed glasses. A police car that was nearby came quickly to the scene, but the chaos of the situation would strangely result in the police dispatcher incorrectly identifying the suspect as an African American male.
In 2008, a California man accidentally found a lot of hard evidence about the Zodiac killer when he was sorting through the relics left by his stepfather Jack Tarance in a public storage box. The FBI conducted a comprehensive investigation of these evidences, and in 2009, DNA tests matched the blood left at the crime scene that year, and the murderer was identified as Jack Tarance. But he himself died as early as 2006, and forensic inquiries are out of the question, so many people are still skeptical of the police investigation.
The DNA test results were overturned in 2010 after it was pointed out that the Los Angeles police were not keeping the DNA results and the way they tested them were incorrect. This case can only list Jack Tarance as the biggest suspect. The result of such a proof and overturn is indeed unpleasant, but on the premise of insufficient evidence, the Zodiac case can only be left hanging. So far, the case is still open for investigation.
Gary Ridgway in Glasses
Jeffrey said he was very controlling and always wanted complete control. So he likes to stun his victims with sleeping pills so he can do whatever he wants. Gary Ridgway said he has no empathy, he doesn't care about others. He looks like a nerd in a tortoiseshell frame, you wouldn't think he'd be a murderer. He committed the murder of 49 women. No matter when, people around him can always feel his ubiquitous indifference. In the courtroom, there was no joy or sorrow in his eyes.
it's like he didn't have any remorse at all. For what he had done you know he'd killed so many people he didn't remember who they were, what they look like. It is hard to believe that somebody could kill all those people and not remember them. Neither could the angry relatives of his victims who were invited to speak in court when Ridgeway was sentenced to life without parole. but then the emotionless facade finally cracked when the father of one of his victims appeared to surprise him with a dose of human kindness. He forgive him in the name of God, which is the only sobe emotion ever showed up on his faces.
What is in Common with Serial Killers' Glasses
One thing, it can help serial murderers to disguise as a very ordinary people who has nothing to do with violence. Another thing is those glasses are easy to buy a similar pair. During that time, there were not many glasses styles as today. Moreover, aviator glasses must be popular then. Nowadays, if you go shopping on Amazon, you can get a very decent pair with cheap price.
